Social media can portray a person’s image, especially in this era when electronic devices are very popular. We hope to show different ourselves on different social media. I have chosen three social media photos of linkedin, instagram and wechat to show my personal characteristics.
The first one is my photo on linkedin. As we all know, linkedin is mainly a professional social platform, on this platform, I hope to reflect my professionalism. So last year I went to a professional photo studio to shoot my professional photo. This is also a photo I like very much. It not only reflects my professionalism, but also reflects some of my personal characteristics such as cheerful, generous, positive and so on. I hope to show more of my extremely personal ability through this photo.

The second one I want to show is some photos from my Instagram. I am a person in Instagram who likes to make friends and has many hobbies. Because I like photography so much, most of the Instagram photos are my photography work. My avatar is also the photo I took with the camera. The photo reflects me in a cool and entertaining nature. I hope to make more friends with related hobbies to pursue their hobbies in the future.

The third social media platform I want to show is my WeChat Moments. WeChat is the most commonly used social media by Chinese people, a bit similar to the American message plus facebook. What I show most in WeChat Moments is my daily life. During the university, I participated in the work of the student union almost all the time, so I basically did activities related to the student union every day. A large part of my circle of friends are photos of student union work. A large part of this is the activities that I and my friends completed together. After the activities, we will take a group photo together. I hope to show how we are fighting together. This makes me feel very proud.

I think the design of social media itself gives people a natural attribute. It’s like almost no one will post professional photos on Instagram. At the beginning of product design, these social media have already constructed a more accurate user group positioning. But the interesting thing is that these social media are not mutually exclusive. A person may have many faces, so multiple social media can help them accomplish these.
